Christian Clothing Does Not Have To Be Boring!

May 21, 2018

If you go shopping for Christian gifts what’s, almost always the first thing you’re likely to encounter? Clothes. Christian clothes. In years past people have viewed Christian clothes with a sort of disdain, not cause of the message it conveys but because it was decades behind on the fashion scene! Guess what? Today’s’ clothing designers eventually caught up-and today’s’ Christian clothing does not have to be dull!

I need to acknowledge it-I love to shop. And because I really like to shop I can frequently be discovered wandering through the aisles at my regional retailers, checking out what they must offer. Unfortunately, unless I want to make a trip to my Christian bookstore the majority of what they have available for Christian clothing is-well, boring! You might come across a shirt using the infamous “Jesus fish” on it or there, but this is about it. Until today.

I was delighted this past winter to be wandering down the aisles of my regional Super WalMart and stumble upon an entire screen dedicated to nothing but fun, amazing Christian t-shirts. Sporting such unusual expressions as iPray (in authentic eBay style) these were stylish, fun, friendly and, astonishingly, cheap.

I know many men and women who would spend more time in Christian attire whenever they could discover it via a more cost conscientious merchant, something I will need to bear in mind for the future.

What christian clothing designers Could Do with Spiritual Clothing

Interesting Christian clothes is not just about spreading the word (although they do that quite well also). It is also about making certain Christians’ are putting their very best foot forward if they step out into the world. Not only are they Christians’ and not afraid to reveal it (an essential and necessary part of living for Christ) they are also willingly committing to status as a representative of God.

Consider it. Can you start a fight sporting a baseball cap? Well, fine, you can, but you are not going to. Why? Because when you place those Christian clothes on you’re stating, “I am a representative of the family of God.” Your mom certainly would not let you throw shame on the family name when you were attending a dinner or a convention in their name. God expects the identical courtesy. Together with your Christian clothes, you are promising to give him.
